did:iden3 Deployments

The following is a list of known deployments of did:iden3 software. If you are operating a deployment that is not listed here, please let us know (or submit a pull request). Sharing information about deployments helps the community learn from real-world usage and build a broader, more interoperable ecosystem.

Public & Production Deployments:

  • Privado ID / Polygon ID Ecosystem / Billions Network

The Privado ID (formerly Polygon ID) ecosystem includes multiple production deployments based on the did:iden3 method. These deployments support decentralized identity, verifiable credentials, and zero-knowledge proof–based authentication across web and mobile applications.
Deployments within this ecosystem are used by organizations to:
    • Issue verifiable credentials anchored to did:iden3 identifiers
    • Verify credentials and zero-knowledge proofs during authentication and authorization
    • Manage credential lifecycles, including refresh and revocation workflows
These deployments are operated by ecosystem participants and integrators as part of real-world identity solutions.
  • HSBC and Chaincode Consulting.

  • PoU technlolgy usage by Sentient, Lagrange, Openledger.

  • Iden3 libs usage: : Clique, Qacc, Hovi, Nomis, idOS

Resolver Deployments

Universal Resolver Environments

Support for resolving did:iden3 identifiers is available through deployments that integrate did:iden3 into Universal Resolver–based infrastructures. These resolver deployments are used for interoperability testing, integration with other DID methods, and development and conformance environments.

Application-Based Deployments

Many did:iden3 deployments are application-centric rather than exposed as standalone public DID endpoints. In these cases, did:iden3 is embedded within broader identity platforms and applications.

Examples include:

  • Web applications using zero-knowledge authentication flows
  • Mobile applications supporting verifiable credential presentation
  • Enterprise and partner platforms integrating privacy-preserving identity verification

Notes

  • Some did:iden3 deployments are private, permissioned, or enterprise-specific and are not publicly documented.
  • This page intentionally lists only known and publicly acknowledged deployments.
  • As additional public-sector, enterprise, or community deployments become known, they can be added here through community contributions.
